This poster use a fire grapic which follows on into the pictures of the woman screaming with another grapic of hands surrounding her. This give the poster a horror feel and gives the poster some individuality.
A Nightmare On Elm Street

This dark poster instantly allows the audience to understand the horror aspect of the film. The use of the black and red colour supports this. This poster is simple and straight to the point, something which i believe works in the advertising industry.
The Dark knight

This poster leaves a rherorical question for the audience to think about, i like the use of this as it allows the audience to interact with the poster. Again the use of black and red give the poster a 'scary' persona. This is also contradicted by the face which is madeup of the bad man symbol which confuses the audience and forces them to think deeply into the poster and what it means and what its trying to tell them as the audience.
